Namir Awan, Sports Editor

Namir is a senior and the Sports Editor for The Sidekick. Namir loves to watch and play basketball and football. Namir enjoys learning about history because he likes learning about the past. He also loves to play video games with his friends; his favorite game is Rocket League. Namir also works at Kumon; he enjoys working there because he enjoys helping kids learn math and reading. The Coppell cross country team ran on Oct. 11 at the District 5-6A Meet with sophomore Maya Easterwood placing second and senior Pranav Vegiraju placing third at North Lakes Park in Denton. The boys placed third and advance to the Class 6A Region I Championship and the girls lost the tiebreaker.
