Shrika Elma, Staff Designer
Shrika Elma is a junior and second-year staff designer for The Sidekick.
She started reading on Coppell Student Media as a freshman in Principles of Arts, A/V Tech and Communications and became interested in the comics, entertainment and opinions, leading her to become a staff designer for the newspaper.
She is originally from Connecticut, having moved to Texas in 2019. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing books, playing piano, singing for the Coppell Choir, animating, doing taekwondo (which she recently started doing as a white belt), listening to music or creating music to post on her YouTube channel, shrika-e. Her favorite artists are Alan Walker, BLACKPINK, KATSEYE and W.i.S.H. and she enjoys watching fantasy and science fiction TV shows and movies.
