The Coppell boys soccer team takes on the Flower Mound Marcus Marauders at Buddy Echols Field on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Coppell took over possession of the number one ranking in Class 5A after their last win 3-0 win over Flower Mound and the Marauders are currently ranked third in the state.

This clash of powerhouses will be a rematch of the Feb. 14 match that saw the Cowboys squeaking by Marcus 2-1. This is the only district loss for Marcus on the season.

With a 10 game winning streak, Coppell is coming into the match with one of the top offenses in the area, averaging around four goals a match.

The game will be a deciding factor who wins the District 5-5A championship.
