Sohana Singh is a senior and a second-year staff photographer for The Sidekick. 

She joined The Sidekick because of an interest in exploring photography and writing in a new setting, as she believes in the value of journalism to uncover the truth and tell compelling stories.

Singh is a member of the Technology Student Association and the Society of Women Engineers at CHS, and hopes to pursue a career in engineering in the future. In her free time, she likes to skateboard, play video games (especially Zelda and Final Fantasy), and play the french horn and piano. You can often find her listening to her favorite music artists, the Arctic Monkeys or Two Door Cinema Club.

Coppell High School seniors Tisya Yadav, Aryan Bansal, Anusha Narway and Abhilash Katuru were named as four of the 1,514 semifinalists in the Coca-Cola Scholarship out of a pool of 103,800 students nationwide for their excellence and skills. On Jan. 11, Narway and Katuru were selected as two of the 250 advancing regional finalists. 150 Coca-Cola scholars receive a $20,000 scholarship for any school-related expenses.
