Facebook changes privacy settings

By Rebecca Fowler
Staff Writer

Facebook updates constantly.  Sometimes these changes are obnoxious, other times they are beneficial.  The newest privacy settings changes, however, are definitely positive ones.

With the newest updates, Facebook users are able to choose which areas they want open to the public and their friends.  More detailed than the previous privacy settings, the new options allow members to make certain parts of their profiles available, such as individual photo albums and different categories under “info.”

The biggest change, however, is the option to block specific people from seeing certain areas of your profile.  Don’t want your parents to see your wall?  Don’t want your ex to see your relationship status?  Now you’re in control.

All you have to do is change your privacy settings.
