Apple has once again outdone themselves. No, there’s not a new iPhone, iTouch, iMac or iWhatever out; this is better.

I never thought that I would find so much happiness and entertainment out of something that costs $2.99 and can be downloaded in less than 30 seconds. Well, Words With Friends proved me wrong.

Words With Friends was released earlier in the year and is the iPhone’s version of scrabble, only better. You can have as many games going on as you want and you can communicate with your opponents through chats.

I cannot count the number of people that have downloaded Words With Friends this week alone. In other words, it’s the new rage at the high school. I actually think it’s the best app that Apple has come out with yet, which says a lot because I am a HUGE fan of Sally’s Salon. But, Words With Friends takes the cake.

So, if you have an iphone and are ready for a challenge, feel free to spark up a game with pwoody and bring it on.
