The CHS theater department is putting on one final show before their curtains close for the 2011-2012 school year. ‘Dividing the Estate’, is a dramatic performance ,written by Horton Foote and directed by Bill Ballard. It is set in 1987 Texan times, when a family was hit hard by the drop in oil prices. The story line unfolds as the southern-rooted extended family gathers together to endure their hardships during this time period.
‘Dividing the Estate’ opened tonight at 7:30 pm, but if you did not catch it, there are three more showings to attend. There will be a show tomorrow, monday and the last show will be on tuesday. All performances will begin at promptly 7:30 pm and tickets can be purchased at the door starting at 6:30 pm before each showing. Come out and support the cast and crew of ‘Dividing the Estate’ and celebrate a great year for the theater department.
