Top Chef All- Stars

Top Chef All- Stars, the 8th season of the t.v. series is premiering tonight at 10/ 9 central.

The previous seasons have been stacked with top chefs from around the U.S. and they have been entertaining audiences and making them hungry. The past seasons have been placed in a variety of different cities from New York to L.A. but this year they are back in New York City. This new season brought back competitors from the previous seven seasons who didn’t win but they all got to the final round of the competition. All of them are back for the victory that was taken from their grasp and from what I saw last night it should be a very competitive season.

Last night was the opening show of the season and the competitors were all shocked by what the quick fire challenge was and what the final challenge had in store. The quick fire challenge brought the competitors onto teams made up of the people from there season and they had to create a dish that represented their city in which their season took place. Season 6 ended up winning the challenge winning immunity from elimination. The final challenge was extremely difficult for some competitors because they had to recreate the dishes that they were sent home for. During the challenge half of the competitors ate the other food with the judges and then they switched. But what the competitors who were eating first didn’t know is that the cchefs in the kitchen were watching the others eating there food and making comments. Needless to say, everyone was a little embarrassed and angry.

At the end of the challenge, Elia, from season 2, went home and, Angelo, from season 7, won with a dish he cooked in the finale. The season has a variety of people and amazing chefs from around the U.S. but 3 of these competitors are from Dallas. Tiffany, Casey and Tre are all chefs in Dallas and let me tell you, from the looks of there restaurants they are a force to be reckoned with. The season should be a great show for people who have watched from the beginning to people who are just starting to watch.
