Lost approaches its end

By Allie Perison
Editor in Chief

With only two episodes remaining in the series, Lost is finally approaching its end. I think we all thought we would have more answers by now, but things are starting to come together.

On the last episode, we were given the back story on Jacob and the man who inhabits John Lockes body who has yet to have a name. We learned that the two characters are in fact brothers of a mother who was murdered immediately after their birth. The story continues to show the bond between the two brothers that eventually fades into hatred.

The relationship between Jacob and no named brother seems to be much deeper than we realized before. Now the question is if whoever the candidate is is supposed to protect the light that Jacob now cannot protect. Or, maybe the light has gone out since he died. As far as I am concerned, the writers have got a lot of explaining to do and all we can do is wait until next weeks episode.

We also learned that whatever the mysterious light that can make the island disappear has been there forever and may represent what is good and evil in every human.
