By Travis Bremner
Staff Writer

The TV drama series Friday Night Lights returns tonight for its fourth season on NBC. The new season is said to feature much change in the fictional city of Dillion, Texas where the show takes place.

Friday Night Lights will air 13 episodes this summer; it played over the winter on DirecTV and now hits the network. Despite being critically acclaimed, rhe show has struggled to get viewers and the was effected by the writers’ strike in 2007-2008, and has been on verge on being cancelled so NBC made a deal with DirecTV to help financially.

If you haven’t seen the show, you might be able to guess what the basic idea, its set in a town somewhat like Coppell where Friday night football games are big deal. However, FNL addresses some of the personal issues that face everyday Middle America in a small town setting.

The show starts tonight at 7pm on NBC. Tune in, get hooked and keep Friday Night Lights on TV for many more seasons. If you’re busy, TiVo it!
