Attention all folk fans, Bowerbirds will be headlining at the House of Blues next friday, Feb. 5.
For those who haven’t heard of the band, think the Avett Brothers meets The Most Serene Republic. The band got it’s start in North Carolina in 2006. Since then, the band has produced one EP and two CDs, the latest of which came out in July of 2009 and is titled Upper Air.
The group comprises Phil Moore on vocals, guitar, hi-hat/tambourine, Beth Tacular on accordion, bass drum, vocals and Mark Paulson on drums and violin.
