Coppell Read is an annual program put on by the William T. Cozby Library in Coppell. It is a city-wide reading program for all ages that promotes the reading and discussion of one book at the same time.
This coming Sunday and Monday, there will be a book discussion over the library’s selection: Remember Ben Clayton by Stephen Harrigan. This book is a telling of a sculptor who was commissioned by a rancher to create a statue of his fallen son on the WWI battlefields. The Sunday meeting is at 2 p.m. and the Monday meeting is at 7 p.m.
On Wednesday Oct. 17, Stephen Harrigan will be at the library at 7 p.m. to discuss his book with the community and to sign autographs as well.
