Nothing to do for Halloween?

It’s that time of year again, and families are rolling out the candy to give to young trick or treaters that appear in their obnoxious costumes on their door step. While many may have plans to go from door to door asking for candy, several are taking a risk to check out some of the award winning haunted houses located right here in the Dallas/Fort Worth are.

The long lines, the frightening suprise figures coming in your way as you walk down narrow hallways, and the fear of being seperated from the group you came with are all moments derived from none other than Cutting Edge.

Although it used to be a meat packing factory, now it is rated the fifth best haunted house in the country amongst thirteen others. Cutting Edge is located in a 235,000 square foot warehouse built in the late 1920’s, and the makers are sure to scare you out of your mind.

Cutting Edge would be number one on my list of priorities for Halloween night, but for those who may not want to drive all the way to Fort Worth there are other options. Dallas Scaregrounds is more a a Halloween festival that includes food, entertainment, and fun giveaways. However, this is not all there is to see there, Dallas Scaregrounds presents three haunted houses to show to attendees: The Terrortorium™, The Necrotorium™, and The Hallucinatorium™.

Last on the list would have to be Six Flags, Fright Fest. Why last? Well, let’s just say I’m not big on roller coasters, but many people are so it’s worth a shot. Fright Fest, unlike other Halloween events, has a ton of activities for little kids, but also a handful of haunted houses to choose from as well. You can make it a family event, and for once not have to hand out candy all night long.

So, there you have it. A list of activities that might just fullfill this years Halloween experience for you.
