Twilight saga goes in the shadows

By Tolu Salako
Staff Writer

Merely three years ago many students, girls especially, were ridiculously excited for the newest movie/book to be released from the Twilight saga. However as the years have progressed the excitement for these series has significantly decreased.

Some say that they used to like it and now it just got dumb and overdramatic however some say that they are still as excited as they were back in the seventh grade.

I have never been a die hard fan of the Twilight saga and I don’t think I ever will be with its overdramatic scenarios, how the story implies that having a boyfriend is the only thing that matters in the world and that you should jump off cliffs if you can never see your boyfriend again like Bella in the movie New Moon

As Breaking Dawn: Part 1 is released next friday on Nov.  18 2011, I’m sure many fans will be attending the midnight premiere but its evident that the thrill of these movies has died down substantially.
