Beauty and the Beast closes its curtains

By Madison Ford

Entertainment Editor

After five successful showings of Beauty and the Beast, Coppell High School’s theater department is closing the curtain on its rendition of the classic fairy tale. However, while the performances are now over, those who were part of the musical and those who had the opportunity to see it should not be disappointed. With stunning performance and an almost full house turn out every night, the musical was without a doubt a success.

Starring junior Alex Smith as Beast and sophomore Emily McIntyre as Belle, Beauty and the Beast had showings Thursday, November 3rd, through Sunday, November 6th, as well as Tuesday, November 8. The musical has received rave reviews from all who have seen it.

For those who wish the magic of Beauty and the Beast would not end, there are pictures from the musical available for purchase at the CHS theater website. Pictures from past CHS theater department production are also archived and available to purchase.
