The First United Methodist Churches of Coppell and Vista Ridge are joining forces this Friday, April 29 to host the “Imagine NO Malaria” outdoor benefit concert. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and will be held on the plaza behind Coppell City Hall.
The opening performance will be local Coppell band Amber Open Skies, followed by The Connections Band, who will be accompanied by the Coppell Horns and playing tributes to Stevie Wonder and Billy Joel. Anyone in the community is invited to come and bring a picnic supper.
The event is free, but donations will be collected throughout the evening. All proceeds will be donated to the Imagine No Malaria organization, a Christian organization dedicated to erasing malaria from the people of Africa.
