Amber Open Skies competes at the Texas High School Rock Off

By Abby Drake
Staff Writer

For the second year in a row one of Coppell’s very own rock bands, Amber Open Skies, or AOS, is playing at the House of Blues this Saturday at the Texas High School Rock Off.

The band members, Chris Teel, Daniel Moomau, Ryan Williams and Tyler Murray, have been together for four years. During that time they have played many shows in different venues, but none as exciting as the House of Blues.

This Saturday AOS will go up against several other high school bands and battle for the title as the most talented high school band in Texas. AOS is going to play a short set that consists of a few songs from their CD, Songs for Sleeping, along with several new songs they have been working on.

So, if you’re a fan of good music and want to support a local band come out to the House of Blues in Dallas and see AOS on stage.
