Just as I was about to lose all hope for “Gossip Girl” they came through on the last episode for 2010. Finally everything unfolds giving us Julliet’s true reasons for hatred toward Serena. Apparently Julliet’s brother was Serena’s teacher during her time in private school. She fell in love with him and was rumored to have an inappropriate relationship with him, which was untrue.

When Lilly chose to get involved to bring Serena home she knew no decent private school would accept her with her grades. When she heard the rumors about the relationship she used that as an excuse for Serena’s poor academic performance in the school. This led to Ben, Julliet’s brother, being not only fired, but sent to jail. Lily signed a form with Serena’s signature consenting to the charges. Serena never had any knowledge of this whatsoever.

All of this unfolded during a humorous road trip with Dan and Blair. The episode, in my opinion, was the only great Gossip-Girl-quality episode so far this season and cannot be missed.
