Oh, look in the news. It’s yet another celebrity divorce; nothing new or interesting about this. Except for the fact that it is Miley Cyrus’ parents. Everyone has heard of her name before; not to mention all the terrible songs, scandalous pictures and her many break-ups plastered all over the web… Miley Cyrus has become a household name, the epitome of the phrase “good girl goes bad.” From her humble beginnings on the hit Disney Channel tv show Hannah Montana to her transformation to a uhm…an “adult” she has gone through a lot. A little less than a month before Miley’s eighteenth birthday, their parents announced that they are getting divorced. In a public statement made to People magazine, the couple have said, “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family… We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”
