Pranavi Ramineni, Staff Writer
Coppell High School junior Pranavi Ramineni’s lavender room reflects her personality, from her watercolor paintings to cherished memorabilia. She finds joy in creative expression and values the stories that objects around her tell.
As a second-year staff writer on The Sidekick, she initially joined to surprise a friend but stayed for her love of cartooning and design. She enjoys storytelling through painting, singing, and writing, believing that art can communicate emotions in ways words sometimes cannot.
Pranavi is an avid reader, with Pride and Prejudice as her favorite book, and she recently enjoyed The Cave by Amani Ballour. She loves watching feel-good movies like The Intern and The Devil Wears Prada, while her top shows include Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Game of Thrones. A former choir member, she still loves singing and often finds herself humming tunes throughout the day.
A passionate baker and cook, she enjoys making brownies and whipping up chicken fajita bowls. She is also a fashion enthusiast who appreciates the artistry behind clothing and collections. When it comes to sports, she selectively follows women’s college basketball (Go Huskies!) and enjoys playing volleyball for fun.
Politically engaged, Pranavi believes in discussing global issues to create a more informed and empathetic future. She dreams of visiting Amsterdam to experience its rich history, unique architecture, and vibrant art scene.
Though not a caffeine fan, she loves matcha, Ghirardelli caramel squares, sour strips, and peach rings. Her family consists of her parents and younger brother. She adores pandas and plans to adopt both a cat and a dog in the future.
