On Monday, January 18th, the 2010 Coachella lineup was announced. It wasn’t until Wednesday that I found out about it. Hurriedly opening up a new tab and going to Coachella’s site, I was greeted with a photo listing all the bands set to attend the California festival.
Names popped out at me like Muse, Jay-Z, Florence + The Machine, The XX, and Julian Casablancas among many, many other great bands. The festival spans across three days, starting Friday April 16th and ending on Sunday, April 18th. All ages will be allowed to attend the festival, and if one doesn’t wish to check into a hotel, you can always car camp.
Tickets for the festival went on sale Friday morning. Buying a Festival Pass for $269 will allow the buyer to attend each day of the festival and must be worn by those at campsites. Though pricey, one look at the line-up would convince any music fan to go.
