This season, while the rest of the country is pulling on their knee high boots and huge scarfs, we Texans have our own unique style. This story will give you the fashion forward tips to looking fall fabulous.

For our ladies we have three categories to make sure all outfits are on point.

Makeup

For the fall, your everyday makeup is an essential compliment to all outfits. Your day look should consist of a nice natural nude eyeshadows palette, thick eyebrows, simple light contour and berry lips. I suggest using Colour Riche La Palette Nude from L’oreal because of its effectiveness and cheap ($19.99) price tag.

For your eyebrows use Brow Define Plus Fill Duo by Maybelline for $7.99 this will shape and fill in your brows for a beautiful full look. Lastly, for your lips, darker berry colors compliment the darker colors of fall; my personal favorite is Laura Mercier paint wash liquid lip color available at Sephora for $28; pricey but worth it

Clothing

This fall all styles will be able to show off their best looks by following these few tips. The “sporty” look would be a large sweatshirt, tights or ripped skinny jeans, and high knee fuzzy socks; make sure to check Lululemon and the Forever 21 sports sections.

The “girly” look would be fabulous in long cotton skirts with slits in them in the colors hunter green, burnt orange, and light gray with cardigans and crop tops in fall browns, oranges and greens. These looks can be inexpensive  at Ross even if you’d have to do a little digging for the best prices.

Don’t forget to add thin body jewelry and plenty of rings to this look. Charming Charlie’s is the best place to find jewelry. The edgy look will command the hallways in leather skirts and burgundy loose sweaters; make sure to check Hot Topic for the newest fashions. Lastly, the street look will slay in black, white and gray joggers accompanied by a plain cap sleeved or long sleeved shirts rolled up to the side or front; make sure you check Image and Forever 21.

Shoes

The freshest kicks this season will be the best part of your outfit. For the sporty girl, the everyday white converse is the popular look while you’re not working out, but when you hit the gym rock Nike Juvenate Fleece in mulberry; they are super comfortable and give great support for the foot.

For my girl fashionista, boots, boots and more boots are in style especially in black suede, brown leather, and tan leather. For the best deals on boots, stop by Shoe carnival. The edgy look will destroy in long knee high combat boots and the greatest prices are from Charlotte Russe (Adriana New York Lug Sole Tall Combat Boot). Lastly, for the fresh off the street look, an old classic is being brought back, the notorious Timberlands.

I haven’t forgotten the guys, these fall trends will have you looking “fresh to death.”

Clothes:

The classic look will be looking sharp in classic straight legged jeans with casual button

down shirts; best found at Macy’s, Banana Republic and Nordstrom. For the fresh off the street look: graphic sweatshirts or military jackets, black faux leather or cotton gray joggers or black ripped jeans, and snapbacks to match the graphic sweatshirts, check out Zumiez and Jimmyjazz for the latest looks. Lastly for the edgy rocker: ripped black jeans and long sleeved black shirts, with possible leather jackets and possible chain around the belt loop; found mainly at Hot Topic.

Shoes

The preppy should check out the new loafers and Oxford shoes in brown or navy. For the hip hop look, search for Jordans and military boots. Lastly the punk look would be totally chill in classic black Vans.

This fall the main objective is to stay warm and look good while doing it.
