Cursive fans from all over were ecstatic when the band announced their tour dates for November and December this past October. And the best part of this announcement? The band will be making a stop at Hailey’s in Denton, TX next Friday, the 27.
Cursive was founded in 1995 when former band mates, Tim Kasher, Matt Maginn, Steve Pedersen joined forces with drummer Clint Schnase. Since then, the band has gained and lost several members but nonetheless produced seven successful albums. Their most current production, Momma, I’m Swollen, was released in March of this year.
The band’s genre has been defined as “indie rock”, “post-hardcore’ and “emo” but they’re musical transcendence and depth has touched the hearts of music connoisseurs across this nation and overseas.
The doors open at 9 pm and the concert is all ages and those under 21 only have to pay 12 dollars to have access to this musical experience. For more information about the concert, click here.
