The Coppell Film Society will be meeting after school at 4:00 pm on Friday. The meeting will consist of a screening of the classic 1975 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, starring Jack Nicholson. Nicholson plays Randle McMurphy, a criminal serving a sentence in a mental institution without any signs of mental illness. McMurphy stirs up a small rebellion among the patients in the facility in an attempt to take on the oppressive head nurse. The film, based off a 1962 novel, won 5 Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
