The Coppell Film Society will be meeting after school at 4:00 pm on Friday. The meeting will consist of a screening of the classic 1975 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, starring Jack Nicholson. Nicholson plays Randle McMurphy, a criminal serving a sentence in a mental institution without any signs of mental illness. McMurphy stirs up a small rebellion among the patients in the facility in an attempt to take on the oppressive head nurse. The film, based off a 1962 novel, won 5 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. If you have an interest in joining the club, you can go to the Coppell Film Society Facebook group or just attend the screening on Friday at 4:00 pm.
