The Coppell Film Society will take on the 2001 cult favorite Donnie Darko this Friday, Feb. 15 at 4:00 pm. The film follows Donnie Darko (Jake Gyllenhaal), a troubled teenager who is plagued with visions of a large bunny rabbit named Frank after escaping death in an unusual accident. Frank tells Donnie to commit a series of crimes and drives Donnie crazy in the process. The film is considered one of the best cult films of the last decade, and is the recipient of numerous awards.
