With two days in counting until Halloween, Coppell High School is getting into the spooky spirit. Today, Ready Set Teach! (RST) students, worked on some crafts to share with their students this Wednesday. They created funky spiders and silly skeletons inspired off of Pinterest using household supplies. Spiders were composed of Halloween colored Solo cups, pipe cleaners, paint, googly eyes and virtually anything students could get a hold of in the classroom. Activities such as these are important for RST  students to expose themselves to, so that they can become familiar with the idea of “thinking outside the box” as future educators.

“You can apply these to teaching because students are leaning how to use their hands and household items to create something great,” senior Sarah Ritchie said. “It’s just something fun and educational for the class to do together, especially at the elementary school range.”

After students completed their craft, they gifted them to staff and administrators around the campus. The simple crafts helped spread a little laugh and some Halloween cheer around.

From Coppell Student Media to you, Happy Halloween.
