Coppell High School Senior Bethany LaPrade has been in California recording her album and has just recently released her single “Sing With You” on iTunes.
LaPrade wrote the song “Sing With You” for a dear friend that had passed.
Bethany never imagined that she would have a singing career, for she was a dedicated competitive cheerleader, but fate and her strong faith brought her an amazing opportunity.
Just to name a few gigs, LaPrade preformed at last spring’s annual South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, and also preformed at Relay for Life this past April.
If you don’t know Bethany or have not heard her music, you should check her out. LaPrade is under the country genre but I’ve heard her do brilliant covers of Drake, Norah Jones, and many other artists and genres.
I’m not really into country music, but I could listen to her all day. Her voice is so unique. It’s so gentle and full of soul.
LaPrade’s album isn’t due for a while, but while we wait for more “Sing With You” will definitely be on repeat for me.
