Being 13 years old is an awkward stage in anyone’s life…and that’s without being unrooted from your home. Texas Creative Arts Academy will premiere 13 The Musical this weekend to explore adolescence and growing up through the eyes of young Evan Goldman as he moves from New York City and plopped in the middle of Appleton, Indiana.
Along with the musical, the audience will also be able to see local Coppell band Amber Open Skies perform after the Saturday, May 7 performance in an “after party” special. Admission to the after party is $5.
Performances are May 6 at 7:00 p.m., May 7 at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. May 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the MCL Grand Theater in Lewisville. Tickets are available for purchase online. Prices range from $13.50-$23.50. The show is appropriate for all ages, and parents are encouraged to bring their children.
