Coppell coach Craig Able still saw gaps in technique and saw room for improvement.
“I thought that in the first 20 minutes of the game we played really well,” Able said. “We created some good moments in the first half. But ultimately, we didn’t finish the way we like to finish, and we want to make sure we’re our best selves for 80 minutes on Tuesday. That didn’t always happen.”
The Cowgirls play Denton Braswell on Tuesday.
“For me, I want to make sure we’re our best selves day in, day out, night in, night out,” Able said. “We’ve got to make sure we make those changes.”
