With the thrill of last week’s wins against Flower Mound and Flower Mound Marcus, the Coppell boys basketball team will take up the court once again on Tuesday, this time against Hebron.
In last week’s game against Flower Mound, Coppell had to come in clutch in the last quarter. During the first half, Flower Mound built an advantage. However, in the last minutes of the fourth quarter, the Cowboys rallied for victory, 70-64.
The Cowboys are currently ranked fourth in district with a 3-2 record while the Hawks are placed sixth with a 2-3 district record. With a 16-10 overall score for the Cowboys and 9-14 overall for the Hawks, both teams look to climb the District 5-6A standings.
With both teams also currently on a two-game winning streak. The Cowboys look forward to boosting that run to a three-win and moving up the district standings.
