Following a loss against Plano West on Tuesday, the Coppell boys basketball team hosts Flower Mound Marcus at CHS Arena on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Coppell coach Clint Schnell hopes to see more consistency throughout the game.
“All season long we have had moments when we have played really well and moments where we have struggled,” Schnell said. “We had a great game resulting in a good win against Plano last Friday, and then on Tuesday we followed that up with a mistake prone effort that resulted in a loss.”
The team is focused on implementing more offensive and defensive techniques this week, in an effort to mitigate mistakes.
Coppell is currently fifth in District 6-6A while Marcus is seventh.
“Overall, Marcus has a really good, experienced team that has been very successful this season,” Schnell said. “We have looked at some of the concepts that Marcus likes to run and we plan to attack and defend those going into the game on Friday.”
