The radio is one device used by teenagers everywhere to listen to their favorite songs as well as to hear the new hits out there. However, the radio seems to be doing a little less spreading of music and a lot more of playing the same ten favorites.
Maybe some people don’t see this as a problem, but I, personally, like to listen to the radio to hear new songs. I know people generally want to listen to what’s popular but it wouldn’t hurt to play some songs by artists who are a little less famous.
I’m willing to bet there are stations out there that do exactly that. I have a different alternative though, and that is Pandora.
For those who have never used it, Pandora.com is a website where you type in a song or artist that you like, and it finds songs that fit that style. You can continue customizing your music as you go by adding more varieties of songs or artists.
