Barely a week has gone by, and already the theatre is scheduling auditions for their new play, Into the Woods. The premise is complex, but well thought out, incorporating many well-known fairy tales into one story.
The main story is that a Baker and his wife must assemble four ingredients into a potion for a witch so that they can lift a curse preventing them from having children. They must find a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn, and the slipper as pure as gold. How they find all of these things have them waltzing through nearly every popular fairy tale known to man.
Just reading the premise has me wanting to go and see what the theatre has done with it. However it turns out, I know it will be good. Anyone interested in participating in the show should go see Mrs. Tabor about auditioning.
