Coppell High School junior Johan Pretorius accepts his trophy for the 50-yard butterfly with CHS seniors Emil Aaltonen and Elieser Gonzales at the Vaquero Battle on Nov. 9 at the Coppell YMCA. Coppell High School sophomore Lauren Mun uses the new addition of water fountains located near the CHS cafeteria which was Coppell High School’s campus senior gift from the graduating class of 2017. The water fountains have promoted students bringing reusable water bottles to school.

Coppell High School swimmers junior Aurelie Migualt, sophomore Shreya Tirumala and junior Reesha Goes go head to head in the girls 50 yard backstroke finals. Migault ended with a time of 28.87 winning 1st place, Tirumala ended with a time of 29.02 placing 2nd and Goes finished with a time of 31.04 placing third place.
