After a 9-2 win yesterday against Flower Mound in the first game of a 2 out of 3 first round playoff series at home the Cowboys were hoping they could get a win on the road.
Their hopes came true. With Connor Foltyn pitching the whole game the Cowboys won 12-0 after a short 5 innings. It seemed as if the whole team contributed and was on the same page. When it came to hitting though Sam Swinton and Tyler Zabojnik each had 3 runs scored along with Foltyn leading the team with 3 RBI’s. This could not have been at a better time since this win has sent the Cowboys riding high into the second round of the playoffs.
The Cowboys are now 29-6-1 and will advance to the second round of the playoffs to face LD Bell sometime next week. They will either have a 1 and done format or best 2 out of 3.
