The Coppell boys soccer team was full of energy from Senior Night and ready to do something amazing for their team. It went on to defeat Denton Braswell, 2-1, on Tuesday, March 3rd, at Buddy Echols Field.
The match started off tight with both teams getting so close to scoring, but not close enough. However the Cowboys did not give up.
With less than nine minutes left in the first half, Coppell pushes through and scores its first goal of the night.
“I was a little tired at first, but the players hyping me up got me energetic,” Coppell forward Adil Ghusnavi said
The energy of the players was highlighted in their performance.
Sophomore forward Colin McGrath scored the Cowboys second goal just five minutes into the second half.
