After two consecutive wins in District 5-6A play for the Coppell volleyball team, it hosts Lewisville at 5:30 p.m. Friday in CHS Arena. Considering recent matches, Coppell will maintain a continuous strategy.

“We will continue to work on ball control, defense and minimizing our errors to beat Lewisville,” Cowgirls coach Robyn Ross said. “Their team is always scrappy and plays good defense, so we have to make sure we come into the match prepared and ready to fight.”

To ensure success, it must confront obstacles.

“Our biggest challenge in most of our matches has been ourselves,” Ross said. “It has been our errors making matches more difficult to win.”

The Cowgirls intend to bring their strengths to the table.

“Our offense and serving will be the biggest factor against Lewisville,” Ross said. “If we can serve tough to the right spots and put the ball away on offense, we will win.”
