Ramadan recipes: Spicy bread pakora

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup of Chickpea flour 
  • A few stems of Cilantro
  • 1-3 Green pepper 
  • ½ tbsp of Paprika 
  • ½ tbsp of Salt 
  • ½ tbsp of Black pepper 
  • ¼  tbsp of Chaat masala (optional)
  • 3 slices of any bread 
  • ½ tbsp Butter
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Cottage cheese 
  • Your choice of dipping sauce

Instructions:

  1. Mix your seasonings in the flour. 
  2. Mix the cilantro and green pepper in the flour. 
  3. Add a splash of water and whisk until fully mixed.
  4. Add a slice of bread up into the mixture and marinate both sides.
  5. Add butter on a pan and put it on medium heat.
  6. Lay the flour coated bread on the heated pan.
  7. Add cottage cheese and mozzarella on top. 
  8. Grill both sides of the bread until golden brown.
  9. Wait for it to cool down.
  10.  Add some tomato ketchup on the side and enjoy.
