Got You Covered is a Sidekick series detailing five events happening at Coppell High School the following week. It will be posted every Monday for the rest of the 2021-22 school year.

Oct. 25 – Oct. 29 is Red Ribbon Week, which is celebrated annually for drug prevention awareness. 

Coppell ISD is hosting a public hearing on its FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) rating for 2020-21during the Board of Trustees meeting today at 6 p.m. at the Vonita White Administration building. 

The Coppell City Council has its regular meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Center. 

New Tech High @ Coppell’s annual Punkin’ Chunkin’ is on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the NTHC campus. Activities include pumpkin painting, sack racing, pumpkin catapult launching and more. 

CISD is hosting its annual Community Tailgate on Friday from 5:30-7 p.m. before the Coppell football game against Plano East. The event will take place between Buddy Echols Field and the Coppell High School Tennis Center, and a brisket or turkey sandwich boxed meal can be purchased here
