Cooking with Christie: Episode 1 (with video)

As Halloween creeps around the corner, many are thrilled for the annual round of haunted houses, trick-or-treating and, of course, delicious recipes.
These vampire teeth cookies are a perfect addition to any Halloween get-together and are sure to exhilarate your tastebuds.
Servings: 12
Serving size: 1-2 cookies
Vampire teeth cookies:
Ingredients:
-1 bag mini marshmallows
-1 tube refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
-1 can vanilla or cream cheese frosting
-Red food coloring
-Stick pretzels
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line pan with foil paper and cover with cooking spray.
- Form dough into one-and-a-half inch balls two inches apart from each other. Flatten balls slightly.
- Bake until golden brown.
- Remove cookies and wait 15 minutes until fully cooled.
- Add a few drops of red food coloring to can of icing. Stir until fully mixed.
- Cut each cookie in half.
- Spread a layer of red icing onto each cookie half.
- Add mini marshmallows around the round edges of each cookie half.
- Place second cookie half on top of the first.
- Stick two small pretzel sticks on each side to represent fangs.
