In search of some fun this week? Here’s a preview into what next Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday hold. So prepare for an ultimate time.

Thursday
Place to be: House of Blues
Why? – Flogging Molly Green 17 tour with the marvelous Frank Turner and The Architects. This is sure to be a crowd surfing mania, complete with whiplash-esque head banging and sweaty, angsty teens beating up against each other. Frank Turner is an English hoss on the guitar and an entertaining post-harcore musician.

Friday
Place to be: Granada
Why? – The beautiful and talented Nouvelle Vague is in the house. Bringing her brazilian pop twist to new age music, Vague has an edgy performace. The doors open at 8 p.m. (but knowning the Granada and lag time with openers, she most likely won’t perform until 10:30 ish.

Saturday
Place to be: The Lizard Lounge
Why? – The technotastic likings of Dave Aude and Tritonal Twins. Translation: Dave Aude = best Lady Gaga remixes known to man and Tritonal Twins = too hot to be legitimate DJs (but they are). This is going to be insane. Oh yeah, 18 and up.

Sunday
Place to be: Cutting Edge
Why? – For the first time, Cutting Edge Haunted House will be open for a “Twisted Love” Valentine’s day special, complete with the Haunted House lit only by candlelight. It’s creative, scary, fun and relatively cheap at $25.00 a ticket.
