CHS Senior Girls Get Tough With Self-Defense Course

Maddie Walters

Staff Writer

While most CHS seniors are preparing for college by sending in housing deposits and finishing up last minute admissions, several senior girls will be bettering themselves by taking a self-defense course sponsored by the Coppell police.

The course will begin Jan. 20 and admission is free. The class will meet every Wed. at Coppell Middle School East from 6 to 8 p.m. for the six weeks following. Unfortunately, the class is for senior girls only and sign-ups are in the cafeteria during all lunches.

If you are interested, talk to the representative who sits at the sign up table and ask for a flyer if you’d like more information or contact the Coppell police department.
