Examining the exam schedule

Satvika Ananth
Staff Writer

Confused about when and where to be next week? As exams roll around, make sure you show up at the right time… and to the right exam.

For freshmen, sophomores and juniors, exams begin on Wed. Jan 13 with fourth period in the morning, followed by shortened class periods for the rest of the day. A Lunch begins at 11:26, B at 12:01 and C at 12:36.

On Thursday, students have exams for class periods 3, 2 and 1 in that order. Each exam is 78 minutes long. Friday follows the same schedule, with tests for 5, 6 and 7 in that order as well. The school day ends at 1:00 both days.

For seniors whose exemptions kick in a semester early, you can begin missing class as early as Fri., Jan 8. Since the fourth period exam is on Wednesday, Friday is the first of the three “exemption” absence days you can miss. For every other class, you can begin being absent on Monday.

Keep in mind that to remain exempt, seniors must have an 85 or above average in the class, four or less tardies, and three or less absences.
