Tonight, the Coppell Cowgirls volleyball team celebrates senior night while facing Southlake Carroll at Coppell High School at 6:30 p.m.

The seniors are sad to see their years of high school volleyball come to an end, but very excited to get a chance to face Lady Dragon tonight.

Southlake Carroll defeated the Cowgirls in three games on Friday October 3rd with scores of 25-3, 25-14 an 25-12.

“It was difficult losing to them in three games a few weeks ago,” senior middle blocker Laura Hogan said. “We definitely did not play our best game that night so we are all excited to comeback out and play our game an hopefully make it a great senior night.”

In order to defeat Southlake Carroll tonight, the Cowgirls are going to have to make a few adjustments.

“Statistically, last time we played [Southlake Carroll], we could not have played worse,” said coach Julie Green with a smile. “We are going to have to execute tonight. They’re big at the net so our block is going to have to be big and we have to be smart defensively, but we feel good about the game. If we play our best, we are very capable of winning.”

The volleyball team encourages all fans and supporters to wear white at tonight’s match.
