Playoff hopes are still alive for the Coppell boys basketball team after their final district-win against the Flower Mound Jaguars last night at Coppell High School.
After senior guard Brandon Watson sunk two free throws with four seconds left in the game, Flower Mound junior guard Jake Feickert knocked down a three to put the final score at 60-59 Cowboys.
With this win, Coppell will face the Jaguars again in a play-in game to make the playoffs. The game will be held at Grapevine High School on Friday Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.
If the team wins, they will face the Euless Trinity Trojans on Tuesday at Southlake Carroll High.
Flower Mound ended the season 21-12. Coppell almost matches that record, standing at 20-12.
