Presidents step into the shoes of presidents, compete with each other

By Tina Huang
Staff Writer

AP US Government classes are comparing the top presidents in United States history. But they are not simply making a t chart. They are participating in a Presidential Bracketology competition. Students drew out of a hat to see which top president they were to be. On a 4×6 flash card, they were to rank notable accomplishments of the president from one to eight.

Each student competes in a tournament draw by stating one fact they deem worthy of competition. For example, student who has Abraham Lincoln competes against student who has Lyndon B. Johnson.

This tournament is going on today during AP Government classes and will last until tomorrow.
