One of the many things that makes a CHS football game such an exciting experience is the widespread student support. One of the many groups that fuels the fire of CHS spirit is the Silver Spurs. If you are at all interested in being a Silver Spur, now is the time to apply!
Sign ups are available for current sophomore and junior boys who have a history of involvement or a passion for pumping up crowds. To sign up, fill out the sign up sheet in Mr. Jasso’s office. The deadline to sign up for a tryout time is May 10.
The duties of a Silver Spur range from doing end zone push-ups during football season to leading games and skits during pep rallies. Being a Silver Spur is a great way to fully experience the cowboy culture of CHS. So grab your spurs, hat and boots and sign up to tryout for Silver Spurs today!
