A group of faculty and students at Victory Place @ Coppell filmed a video for Edgenuity‘s 20/20 Vision Video Contest, and were selected as Runner Up earlier this week. Edgenuity, a leader in the growing online learning industry, hosted the contest to see how schools across the nation are integrating technology to simplify the learning process.
Teachers at Victory Place @ Coppell, the new home of Turning Point and Compass, teamed up with students to create the three-minute video – which is entitled “The Future is Here“. Teachers involved included Brian Kennedy, Marco Rodriquez, Jamie Lackey, David Hume and Rhonda Shaw. Edgenuity noted that CISD’s submission did a great job of highlighting how online learning solutions are helping students solve problems.
CISD was selected as co-runner up – along with Mayville ISD in Wisconsin. As a reward for their outstanding entries, these two districts were awarded software licenses from Edgenuity for free. Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia took home a $5000 technology grant as grand champion of the 20/20 Vision Video Contest.
