By: Tuulia Koponen

Staff Writer

Valued for its purity and softness, rainwater is superior for landscape irrigation and household use and is becoming popular again with Keep Coppell Beautiful holding a Rainwater Harvesting class.

Expert green architect Gar Olp, president of GGO Architects, will be teaching the class based on his philosophy on sustainability evident in his lifestyle.

His highly energy efficient home, organic food choices and beekeeping classes reflect his philosophy with GGO Architects being the first and most successful environmental firm practice in Dallas.

The class will be held on March 2 from 10:30 a.m. – noon at the William T. Cozby Library located at 177 N. Heartz Road and is free of charge and registration.

More information about the Coppell Community Gardens and other classes can be found on their website.
