The Coppell Fire Department always has your back, ‘round the clock, but now there is an opportunity for you to support them. The Fire Department is hosting a Fire Truck Pull event at Wagon Wheel Park on March 22.

This will be Coppell’s first Fire Truck Pull event, though neighboring communities have hosted similar fundraisers. The Fire Department will have two fire engines out on full display for the competition, as teams will be challenged to pull the 55,000-pound trucks 75 yards. Teams can have up to 10 people of high school age or older. Organizations throughout the community are invited to form teams and participate.

There will be two “winners” of the competition: the team that raises the most money, and the team that has the fastest pull time. Everyone is Coppell is invited to head over to Wagon Wheel on March 22 and enjoy the festivities, whether they are competing or not. Registration is $10 per person and should be turned in (form can be found here) by March 15. All proceeds will be given to the American Cancer Society to support the upcoming Relay For Life.
